  1. 300 ml vegetable oil for frying the chicken
  2. 4 pairs chicken thighs and drumsticks, cut into 2 pcs each
  3. 1/2 tsp salt
  4. 1/2 tsp white pepper powder
  5. 5 Tbsp butter
  6. 3 cloves garlic, minced
  7. 1 onion, sliced
  8. For the sauce:
  9. 2 Tbsp oyster sauce
  10. 5 Tbsp sweet soy sauce
  11. 4 Tbsp worcestershire sauce
  12. 50 ml water
  13. 1/2 tsp salt or to taste
  14. 1/4 tsp white pepper powder or to taste

  1. Rub the chicken with salt and white pepper powder. Set aside for 30 minutes.
  2. In a bowl, add the sauce ingredients. Mix well. Set aside.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium high heat. Fry the chicken until it’s cooked and golden brown. Remove from the heat. Set aside.
  4. In the same pan, heat the butter. Sauté garlic and onion until fragrant.
  5. Add the sauce mixture. Keep stirring until the sauce is thickened. Test the taste.
